Fortnite PC requirements and a repeatable testing plan
Requirements and measurements answer different questions.
Official requirement context
Epic’s recommended table lists a GTX 960 or R9 280 class DX11 GPU, 2 GB video memory, a Core i5-7300U or Ryzen 3 3300U class CPU, at least 16 GB RAM, an NVMe SSD and 64-bit Windows 10/11. Its Epic-preset table lists higher GPU and CPU classes. These are publisher requirements, without a stated measured FPS for your selected configuration.

Build your own comparable observation
- Record the exact game version, hardware, resolution, preset, rendering mode and driver.
- Choose a scene you can repeat. Record whether it includes multiplayer variability, a busy world, mods or a server.
- Capture a baseline before changing one setting. Keep the capture method and scene the same on the next run.
- Use repeated observations to decide whether the issue concerns frame delivery, memory/capacity or a setting. A requirements match alone does not prove your target frame rate.
Available benchmark evidence
No approved exact-configuration measured records are available in this release. There is no supported uplift percentage or game-specific purchase recommendation to attach to these requirements.
