What is documented in this hardware catalog?

See coverage and gaps before treating a specification as a compatibility guarantee.

1,216indexed hardware records

This snapshot counts records in our own catalog. A source link does not prove every field on a page, and one documented field does not certify the whole product or build.

How the count is made

Each stable catalog ID is counted once within its category. Source-link presence means the record has an HTTP or HTTPS reference. The compatibility column requires an exact field with a source, an inspection date and a manufacturer-specified or measured status accepted by the shared rule engine.

We check socket, memory, form factor, storage, power and dimensional fields where available. Numeric fields inherited from a specification list do not automatically become verified facts. Different partner GPUs and board revisions remain separate; name similarity does not merge identities.

What this does not establish

These counts are not a quality ranking, a market share estimate, proof that every source is current or a percentage of fully compatible builds. They say nothing about measured game FPS or physical fit of a creator’s model. A missing documented field is a reason to check the exact source, not evidence that the product is incompatible.

Use and cite the snapshot

The downloads contain these original aggregate counts, not a redistributed manufacturer specification database. Include the generated timestamp when citing a snapshot so another reader knows which catalog version you used.
