Method and limits
Select which two shared connections are occupied. PCI_E2 is listed at up to PCIe 4.0 ×2. M2_3 is listed at ×4 by itself, changing to ×2 when both are occupied. The output describes a link, not a benchmark result.
MSI also states that M2_2 is unavailable with Ryzen 8500 and 8300 processors. The CPU-group control reflects that restriction. It does not replace checking the exact supported processor and BIOS version.
Check the printed labels on your board and follow the manual before moving devices. Do not apply this topology to another motherboard with similar slot names. The companion article explains how to keep a useful build record.
